I have a general enquiry, how and when can I contact Robot Recruits?

Alternatively you can call our Admin Office to speak to one of our team by phone on: 01384 918451. Our current office hours are: Monday - Friday 9:30am till 3.30pm. I have a problem with my order, how can I contact Robot Recruits and resolve it quickly?

Robot Recruits aims to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. We want you to enjoy your visit to our store and the products you purchase. If at any time you are concerned or have a problem with your order or any of your purchases, please do not hesitate to contact our team at Customer Services. We are here to help. We enjoy and appreciate the good communication we have with all of our customers. Can I leave feedback about the products I have purchased?

Yes and we encourage all our customers to do so. If you enjoyed your products please let us know by writing a short review about what you enjoyed and why you were impressed with your products. Conversely if you were disappointed let us know why you felt let down by the product and what would have made it better. You can add a short review to all of our products listed in the store by selecting that product and scrolling down to the bottom of the summary. Click on the 'write review' link and tell us all about it. This not only helps us identify best products but also assists fellow shoppers when browsing products.

Is Robot Recruits a high street shop that I can visit?

No. Robot Recruits is not a high street shop neither do we have a physical retail outlet. We are an online shop, or e-store, and all of our business is done as e-commerce. Our contact address is our official office address and our base for administration only. It is also our official mailing address if you wish to contact us by mail. Our admin address is also the address where we accept returns. All of our store stock is located in our warehouse from where orders are processed and dispatched.

How do I place an order?

To place an order first browse the Robot Recruits website to find the product(s) you wish to purchase. You can search for products using the product search box found in the top right corner of every page. Type in short keywords or phrases that relate to the product(s) you're trying to find and then click the 'search' button. Your search results will then appear in the main body of the page. Alternatively you can search for products by browsing the categories section from the main navigation bar. When you have found the product you wish to purchase simply click the 'ADD TO CART' button found at the top right of the product listing page. Your basket will now give you a summary of your order so far. You can continue shopping and add as many products to your shopping basket as you wish or place your order by proceeding to checkout.

How do I use the shopping basket?

To view your basket simply click the 'BASKET' icon at the top of every page. Your basket will show you which products you have selected to purchase, their quantity and price. You can adjust your order by altering the quantity of a product, or you can remove a product from your basket. Your basket will keep a running total of how much your order costs, as well as providing you with a postage estimate, but, please be aware the postage cost is an estimate only based on our default 'Standard' postage values. The exact postage cost for your order will be determined by you later in the checkout process and may vary depending on your chosen method.

How do I checkout?

To checkout your order click the 'CHECKOUT' button in the bottom right corner of your basket. The checkout process follows just a few simple steps. In the first step if you are a returning customer you can choose to 'LOG IN' to your account to retrieve your details quickly or you may choose to checkout as a 'GUEST'. If you are a new customer you may also choose to 'REGISTER' an account with Robot Recruits. In the second step you will need to fill out or confirm your delivery 'ADDRESS' (and billing address if different from your delivery address). You can also choose your 'POSTAGE' method from the list of options available. Please note not all products may be eligible for all postage methods. In the final step you can attach any special requirements you may have to your order and you will need to confirm you agree with our terms & conditions by placing a tick in the appropriate box. To 'PLACE' and pay for your order simply fill in your card details or select your chosen payment provider. If you choose a third party payment provider, such as PayPal, you will be taken to their site to complete the transaction after which you will automatically be returned to Robot Recruits.

Can I place an order by phone?

No. At this time we do not operate a call centre or accept orders by phone. All orders placed with Robot Recruits are solely web based and can only be processed directly through our web store at www.robotrecruits.co.uk.

A listed product that I wanted is out of stock, can I still order it?

No. However, at the bottom of the product summary please click the link 'NOTIFY ME WHEN PRODUCT IS BACK IN STOCK' found under the out of stock symbol. This will notify us that you are interested in this product and when it is restocked we will notify you with a courtesy email.

Can I change my order after checkout?

No. Unfortunately once you have placed your order and received an invoice with a reference number, you cannot add any new items to this order, nor can you remove a product from your order or cancel a part of it. If you need to make changes to your order or cancel it please contact us as soon as possible.

What payment methods does Robot Recruits accept?

Payments can be made using all major debit/credit cards or bank account funding through a secure online payment provider, such as PayPal. Simply follow the checkout process and select your preferred method of payment. Robot Recruits is unable to accept Personal Cheques, Money Orders, Postal Orders, Bank Transfers or Western Union.

I do not have an account with an online payment provider, can I pay for orders using my debit or credit card?

Yes. We accept payments from all major debit/credit cards. Also many online payment providrs, such as PayPal, allow customers to checkout securely as a guest.

Does Robot Recruits accept returns?

Yes*. If you wish to return a product please contact us as soon as possible. Please supply your contact details, your order and reference number (as found on your invoice) and the title of the product purchased. Please also state your reason for the return. We will return your email as soon as possible and endeavor to do all we can to resolve your issues to your satisfaction. *Please see our Returns Policy below.

What is Robot Recruits' policy regarding returns?

Please note returns must be made within 14 days of receiving the product and will only be accepted under the following conditions:

a) The product purchased is faulty from the point of sale.
b) The product received is not the product purchased.
c) The buyer regrets the purchase or it was made in error, however under such circumstances the return will only be accepted if the product remains unopened, undamaged and unused.
d) The buyer must pay the return postage costs, unless: 1) The product purchased is faulty from the point of sale; 2) The product received is not the product purchased.

The buyer is responsible for providing adequate and appropriate protective packaging to ensure the safe return of all products. Robot Recruits cannot refund or replace any returned products that become lost, damaged or missing in return transit.

Products accepted for return may be replaced. Where no replacement can be offered (due to availability) a refund or a store voucher of equivalent value will be offered. Under no circumstances will Robot Recruits offer cash refunds. Refunds are made by crediting the buyer's payment account.

Can I cancel an order after checkout?

Yes. If you wish to cancel an order please contact us as soon as possible. Please supply your contact details, your order and reference number (as found on your invoice) and the title of the product purchased. Please also state your reason for the cancellation. In the event that your order has already been processed and sent out you may return your products. Please see our Returns Policy above.

What is Robot Recruits' policy regarding pre-orders?

Pre-orders are placed in exactly the same way as regular orders. Payments are taken for items, including your chosen postage and packaging option, at the time the order is placed. We do not offer a deposit option, however, our store is fully integrated into PayPal's 'Buy Now Pay Later' scheme which gives you the option to pay via installments.

However unlike regular orders you may cancel your order at any time, up until the official release date, and receive a refund in full at the time of cancellation.

If you would like to cancel your pre-order(s) with us please contact us as soon as possibe.

Once the release date has been announced (the date the manufacturers announce as the date that the figures will begin shipping to distributors and retailers) you will no longer be able to cancel your pre-order as it will already be in the process of being shipped to you. You will, of course, be able to return your item in the usual way if you no longer require it. Please see our returns policy for more information.
