I have a general enquiry, how and when can I contact Robot Recruits?

Please feel free to contact us by email at any time. Our email address for all enquiries is: customerservices@robotrecruits.co.uk. We endeavour to reply to all emails within 2 working days. Alternatively you can call our Admin Office to speak to one of our team by phone on: 01384 918451. Our current office hours are: Monday - Friday 9am till 1.30pm. I have a problem with my order, how can I contact Robot Recruits and resolve it quickly?

Robot Recruits aims to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. We want you to enjoy your visit to our store and the products you purchase. If at any time you are concerned or have a problem with your order or any of your purchases, please do not hesitate to contact our team at Customer Services. We are here to help. We enjoy and appreciate the good communication we have with all of our customers. Can I leave feedback about the products I have purchased?

Yes and we encourage all our customers to do so. If you enjoyed your products please let us know by writing a short review about what you enjoyed and why you were impressed with your products. Conversely if you were disappointed let us know why you felt let down by the product and what would have made it better. You can add a short review to all of our products listed in the store by selecting that product and scrolling down to the bottom of the summary. Click on the 'write review' link and tell us all about it. This not only helps us identify best products but also assists fellow shoppers when browsing products.

Is Robot Recruits a high street shop that I can visit?

No. Robot Recruits is not a high street shop neither do we have a physical retail outlet. We are an online shop, or e-store, and all of our business is done as e-commerce. Our contact address is our official office address and our base for administration only. It is also our official mailing address if you wish to contact us by mail. Our admin address is also the address where we accept returns. All of our store stock is located in our warehouse from where orders are processed and dispatched.

How do I place an order?

To place an order first browse the Robot Recruits website to find the product(s) you wish to purchase. You can search for products using the product search box found in the top right corner of every page. Type in short keywords or phrases that relate to the product(s) you're trying to find and then click the 'search' button. Your search results will then appear in the main body of the page. Alternatively you can search for products by browsing the categories section at the top of the left banner. When you have found the product you wish to purchase simply click the 'ADD TO CART' button found at the top right of the product listing page. Your basket will now give you a summary of your order so far. You can continue shopping and add as many products to your shopping basket as you wish or place your order by proceeding to checkout.

How do I use the shopping basket?

To view your basket simply click the 'BASKET' button found on the main navigation bar at the top of every page. Your basket will show you which products you have selected to purchase, their quantity and price. You can adjust your order by altering the quantity of a product by clicking on the [+] or [-] buttons, or you can remove a product from your basket by clicking on the [X] button. Your basket will keep a running total of how much your order costs, as well as providing you with a postage estimate, but, please be aware the postage cost is an estimate only based on our default 'Economy' postage values. The exact postage cost for your order will be determined by you later in the checkout process and may vary depending on your chosen method.

How do I checkout?

To checkout your order click the 'CHECKOUT' button in the bottom right corner of your basket. The checkout process follows 4 simple steps. To proceed from one step to the next click 'CONTINUE'. In the first step if you are a returning customer you can choose to 'LOG IN' to your account to retrieve your details quickly or you may choose to checkout as a 'GUEST'. If you are a new customer you may also choose to 'REGISTER' an account with Robot Recruits. In the second step you will need to fill out your billing 'ADDRESS' (and delivery address if different from your billing address). In the third step you will need to choose your 'POSTAGE' method from the list of options available. Please note not all products may be eligible for all postage methods. In the fourth step you can review and 'CONFIRM' your order. At this stage you may attach any special requirements you may have to your order and you will need to confirm you agree with our terms & conditions by placing a tick in the appropriate box. You may return to any of the previous steps to 'MODIFY' your details at any time. You can also return to the 'BASKET' if you wish to continue shopping to add or delete any products to or from your list. To 'PAY' for your order simply select your chosen payment method by clicking on the icon button of your chosen payment provider. You will then be taken to your secure payment provider's site to complete the transaction after which you will be returned to Robot Recruits.

Can I place an order by phone?

No. At this time we do not operate a call centre or accept orders by phone. All orders placed with Robot Recruits are solely web based and can only be processed directly through our web store at robotrecruits.co.uk or at our eBay outlet at eBay.co.uk.

A listed product that I wanted is out of stock, can I still order it?

No. However, at the bottom of the product summary please click the link 'NOTIFY ME WHEN PRODUCT IS BACK IN STOCK' found under the out of stock symbol. This will notify us that you are interested in this product and when it is restocked we will notify you with a courtesy email. Also try using the Alternative Packaging or Variant Edition product options as there may be another version of the same product still in stock.

Can I change my order after checkout?

No. Unfortunately once you have placed your order and received an invoice with a reference number, you cannot add any new items to this order, nor can you remove a product from your order or cancel a part of it. If you need to make changes to a existing order you will need to cancel it first (please refer to our terms for Cancellations) and then reorder it making the necessary changes.

What payment methods does Robot Recruits accept?

Payments can be made using all major debit/credit cards or bank account funding through a secure online payment provider. We currently accept payments via PayPal, Skrill (Moneybookers) and Google Checkout/Wallet. Simply follow the checkout process and select your preferred method of payment by clicking on the appropriate tab. Robot Recruits is unable to accept Personal Cheques, Money Orders, Postal Orders, Bank Transfers or Western Union.

I do not have an account with an online payment provider, can I pay for orders using my debit or credit card?

Yes. Both PayPal and Skrill (Moneybookers) allow customers to checkout securely as a guest. You do not need to register or hold a personal account with them in order to use your debit or credit card to pay for an order. Simply select your preferred secure payment provider at checkout and when prompted choose to pay as a guest instead of logging in.
