Kotobukiya Hexa Gear: Alternative Messer Float 1:24 Scale Model Kit

The “Alternative” series aims to create models that are both compact in size and simple to build. Similar to the Governor series, assembly is made easy even for model kit beginners.

The Messer Float is a small unmanned Hexa Gear developed by the military complex MSG. It has much in common with Sneak Sites, which are also classified as alternatives, in that it does not have an independent control device inside, rather it is remotely controlled via the control mother machine and is an ornithopter that flies by flapping its wings.

It can fly and move at high speed even on narrow and complicated routes such as jungles and tunnels. The special optical sensor on its head combines a large number of elements to obtain a high-definition view even during flight and controls the attitude of the aircraft using the crown acceleration sensor.

The abdominal hexagram storage, designed for constant powered flight, has a plasma torch installed at the tip, used for cutting and welding metal structures. This equipment features high energy efficiency and is sometimes used by Governors as a sword.

The two pairs of limbs have sharp hooks at the tips to carry cargo and personnel in a hugging manner and can be used as anchors to fix the aircraft to walls or ceilings.

It is mainly used for reconnaissance in the Variant Force, and has become indispensable for field forces, being used as patrols around the outer edge of camp and acting as a repellent ahead of advancing troops, and is also in use by engineers.

The model is made with 3 colors: green, gun metallic, and clear red. The green is the same color used for EARLY GOVERNOR Vol.3.
