Kotobukiya Hexa Gear: Bulkarm Glanz 1:24 Scale Model Kit

The Bulkarm is the longest-used mech in Hexa Gear history, and its type has spread worldwide spawning multiple variations.

Classified as a “2.5-gen” unit, Bulkarm Glanz was not developed by M.S.G, the developer of the Bulkarm series, but by Maxwell Gears, an outside third-party company.

One of its design features is that it achieved high mobility and maneuverability despite being bipedal. This was done by reducing weight at the cost of defense and incorporating assistance wheels to improve maneuverability. However, considering the outcome being that mobility was better achieved by wheels than walking, it can be said that this ultimately contributed to the demise of the second generation.

Nonetheless, the system converter first introduced in this unit was later implemented as a standard feature of third-gen ZOATEX HEXA GEAR units, making it a significant achievement in the history of HEXA GEAR development.

The model can be converted between “Humanoid Mode” and “Vehicle Mode.” The model includes the first fully closable cockpit, which can be equipped with a separately sold Governor model.

The included hand parts are the same as M.S.G. Hand Unit Wild Hands, with a few updates to the design, giving them more stability when holding weapons. The tires on the assist wheels are made of PVC, giving them a realistic appearance. The wheels are equipped with an expansion mechanism that allows users to alter the distance of the vehicle from the ground.

The rifle magazine is detachable and is constructed with high detail that allows you to see the bullets inside the magazine. The model is constructed using the HEXA-G.R.A.M. system, making it highly customizable and compatible with other models from the HEXA GEAR series.

The model’s headlights are retractable and can be deployed in vehicle mode. The model’s tail lights are made of clear orange and clear red parts.

Any extra action figures, weapons, or vehicles pictured in the promotional photos are not included.
